High power performance and a long useful life in wide ranges of temperature afford Ni-MH technology high potential. The two main differences between Ni-Cd and Ni-MH is Ni-Cd batteries are best used in high rate discharge or charging applications and Ni-MH is best used in low rate applications as these batteries have a much longer run time.
