Batteries for Security

Advanced Battery Systems has been supplying security batteries since 1988, and in the past 15 years, we have worked diligently to service this industry and find small, reliable batteries for our ABS brand AGM series. We are now one of the leading battery suppliers in this industry.  Currently, residential services account for about 50%, while commercial account for about 30% of this industry, and the balance is in industrial applications.  This is now changing in major cities because of the lack of land for property development. Consequently,  density is increasing through more high-rise construction, so the industry is also evolving. That generally means smaller batteries and more sensors.  That requires a different type of battery, such as the SAFT primary lithium with a 10-year long life that we also supply.

A large part of our business is in the commercial and industrial security sectors.  This generally means larger, more reliable, and long-life batteries such as the Sonnenschein advanced technology VRLA-GEL batteries are required to support the brains of the system.  The remote sensors are still supplied by our SAFT primary lithium batteries.
